During or after menstruation, do you often feel, or have you felt, a need for products like beets, cherries, black currants, etc.?

Your body responds to what it lacks, because we lose so much blood. Although it is said that it regenerates... Unfortunately, the reality is that very often this leads to anemia, chronic fatigue, melancholy, and lack of energy. As always – it is best to react and act in time.

So, what do we do?

Here are a few recipes and products that will help your body feel good always :) even during menstruation... Yes! For some, this sounds like reaching for the stars.

  •  It is important to drink water with lemon juice in the mornings. It is best if the water is warm, comfortable to drink, it can even be quite hot. This helps to stimulate circulation in the morning. This is very important not only during menstruation, but every morning. Be sure to drink at least 2 liters of pure water every day. Reduce coffee consumption, which significantly dehydrates the body and also removes potassium, magnesium, vitamin C, and other essential nutrients. This particularly weakens the blood, immunity, and the entire body.
  •  Sleep. It is essential to go to bed before 11 PM. This way your body will rest, regain strength, and you will not feel immense exhaustion during menstruation.
  •  It is very beneficial to start drinking green smoothies in the mornings or during the day. Add pomegranate berries.

  • Consume beets. Prepare salads, add them to smoothies, soups. It would be beneficial to use uncooked beets, as this preserves their active nutrients. Beets have long been known as an excellent vegetable for strengthening, cleansing, and restoring blood and liver.

For example, prepare a salad like this: Grate a beetroot using a coarse grater. Separately, chop an onion and marinate it briefly with salt and lemon juice. This softens the onion and makes it tastier, without the sharp odor. Then mix them together, season with black pepper, sunflower and pumpkin seeds (you can lightly toast the seeds). Drizzle with cold-pressed sunflower, olive, or pumpkin oil.

  • Eat more leafy green vegetables, such as cilantro, arugula, various green lettuces, and broccoli.
  • Prepare buckwheat, which is very rich in iron. Consume it raw, not roasted.
