From Japan, Kyoto region
This matcha comes from Japan, from the Kyoto region. The highest ceremonial grade is produced in Japan in limited quantities, and is valued for the leaves that go into it and for its subtle flavour.

Mild umami and a creamy texture
Ceremonial matcha shows itself best with a small amount of water, without milk or anything else that would mask its subtle flavour.
Why choose us over others?
For ceremonial preparation
First-harvest matcha is especially well suited to preparing with a small amount of water, letting its subtle flavour and umami come through.
For a mild flavour
The youngest tea leaves give a milder, gently sweet flavour with less bitterness than matcha from a later harvest.

For vivid umami
The ceremonial grade stands out with the most intense umami profile in the whole Grasole matcha range.
For a creamy texture
The finely ground leaves let the matcha be whisked into a smooth, silky, creamy consistency.
