"Hundreds of studies have shown that the biologically active substances in cranberries improve health. For example, the polyphenols found in cranberries have been shown to support a healthy urinary system and protect against cardiovascular diseases and other chronic illnesses," says Dr. Jeffrey Blumberg, one of the review's authors. He is the director of the Antioxidants Research Laboratory and a professor at the Tufts University School of Nutrition Science and Policy.

In addition to protecting the urinary system and cardiovascular health, cranberries are considered to help inhibit the development of malignant tumors and protect against certain forms of cancer. Furthermore, the same polyphenols that protect the urinary system from bacteria also remove them from the oral mucosa and teeth.

CRANBERRY COCKTAIL

0.5 liters of cranberries

2 bananas

3-4 cm ginger root

4-5 cm turmeric root

1 tbsp honey

Place all ingredients in a blender, add water until covered, blend until smooth.

The cocktail can be consumed in the mornings or during the day.
