We all know that protein is a building block for muscles and food for the brain. Useful and necessary for everyone. Beetroot strengthens the blood and provides energy. You can apply the stew recipe differently every time. e.g. you alternate lentils with chickpeas, pearl barley, quinoa, green peas, buckwheat, etc. You can also change the vegetables every time, with different spices. Just more creativity and imagination in the kitchen :)
You will need:
0.5 glasses of lentils (soaked in water overnight. In this way, the nutritional value is increased and there is no need to cook for a long time.)
1 beet,
1 carrot,
0.5 tsp of salt,
1/4 tbsp cayenne,
0.5 tsp coriander,
0.5 tsp cumin,
0.5 tsp curry,
1/4 lemon juice,
Fresh coriander.
Oil.
Progress:
Boil the lentils for only 2-3 minutes. Add 2-3 tablespoons of oil.
Let it swell for 10-15 minutes.
Grate beetroot and carrot with straws.
Soften with a pinch of salt and lemon juice.
We heat it easily in a pan for 2-3 minutes.
If you want the vegetables to be softer, after adding a splash of water, boil for another 5 minutes.
We add spices.
Serve with lentils. Sprinkle with chopped coriander or other greens, a pinch of white and black sesame seeds.
