The essence of sprouting is high nutritional value and exceptionally good absorption by the body. Buckwheat is perfect for those looking to lose weight. It contains iron, calcium, potassium, phosphorus, iodine, zinc, fluorine, cobalt, B vitamins, and folic acid. It positively affects cholesterol levels in the blood.
This time we are sprouting 0.5 cup of green, unroasted buckwheat. The buckwheat should be white-light in color, bright, not brown-roasted. They are not alive yet, so they will not sprout.
We pour 1 glass of water over the buckwheat. We let it sit for 30 minutes. This way, the buckwheat is awakened and becomes alive, ready to sprout.
Then we keep them in the sieve for 1-1.5 days. Rinse occasionally under running water.
Once you see the white sprouts, you can keep them in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or dry them.
We dry in the dryer at 42-47 C. Sometimes I leave them in the mesh, do not wash with water, and they dry naturally.
We eat buckwheat with fruits and vegetables. We sprinkle dried buckwheat on salads and soups.
